Q. How long will it take for my order to arrive?

A. We say the usual mail order “Please allow 28 days for delivery…” but, in practice, they usually take about a week to ten days to arrive, depending upon the country of destination.

Q. How often do I need to apply the drops?

A. We recommend applying one drop every hour throughout the day in each eye being treated. One box should last approximately one week when treating both eyes.

Q. Do I have to continue the treatment forever?

A. Once the cataracts has been dissolved we recommend applying one or two drops daily into each eye being treated to maintain good eye health and vision and to help prevent other eye conditions or cataracts from returning again in the future. The exception to this is for diabetics who will need to continue with the treatment unless the diabetes is also addressed. This is explained more fully by Dr Elizabette Cohen in the second of her audio discussions on the subject which you can listen to on the bottom left of her page – NYC Pet Vet Video. For diabetics, we strongly recommend using our Ethos Elan Vital for Pets, in conjunction with the eye drops, to help combat the diabetes.

Q. Do Bright Eyes Drops only work for cataracts..?

A. No, the very special ingredient in the eye drops is N-Acetly-Carnosine, called NAC for short, and this is the only product in the world which has been proved scientifically to actually rejuvenate cells and promote natural healing. The drops also contain excellent lubricants and are good for the following eye conditions:

  • Cataracts
  • Intraocular Pressure Associated With Glaucoma
  • Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
  • Vitreous Opacities and Lesions
  • Ocular Inflammation
  • Dry Eye Syndrome
  • Corneal Disorders
  • Chronic Eye Strain
  • Retinal Disease
  • Blurred Vision
  • Presbyopia
  • Floaters

Q. Do Bright Eyes Drops drops sting at when using them?

A. They can sting a little bit initially, but this will only last for a minute or two and we think that this is still a lot more  preferable to having invasive surgery and the pain that causes. Everybody’s pain thresholds is different, and  most of our customers report not really noticing anything at all, apart from one lady who said that they stung too much she couldn’t use them but that is literally one in millions. Regading the drops for pets, they have a very good sixth sense and know when something is good for them and we have had many dog owners say their dog’s come to them when they get the bottle out as they know it’s time for their treatment. You can see Elizabette Cohen applying the drops to Allies eyes on her video documentary she did about the drops and you can see there that Allie doesn’t appear distressed in any way at all, you can even see her wagging her tail and she even gives Elizabette a kiss when she’s finished putting them in for her.

Q. Why haven’t I heard about Bright Eyes Drops before and why don’t all vets recommend them over surgery which is very costly for pets and not always possible?

A. More and more people are finding out about the drops and it is part of our mission to spread the word and get the information out to as many people as possible. But cataracts surgery is a billion dollar a year industry and so the information is kept well under wraps as much as possible. This is summed up excellently by a USA doctor in the penultimate paragraph of his newsletter article where he states:

“The enormous benefits of NAC eye drops should be the topic of every nightly newscast and front-page headlines on every newspaper – but you and I both know that just won’t happen. Cataract surgery and treatment has become too big of a business. With the oldest of the baby boomers just now beginning to reach the age where cataracts starts to form, the condition will become a surgical “cash cow”

A 14 year old boy we treated with the drops gave us the brilliant analogy when he was asked why cataracts surgeons didn’t recommend using our eye drops and he said “It would be like asking turkeys to vote for thanksgiving…”
